If you wanna bring the car to Austin Tx. there is a excellent body shop here that works on Mercedes and Bmw. I had to have my 89 750 taken there when I ran into the back of this lady in a toyota because she slamed on her brakes. It wasn't as bad as your 850 but they had to replace the motor mounts,transmission mounts,center bearing for the driveshaft, it needed a new front bumper and the engine fan blade broke. It cost around $2,000 for the insurance to fix it. And it drives just like it did before except it has a slight vibration in the steering which may be the Control Arm brushings. But the bumper had to be painted and they matched the paint perfect.
