I am not sure if this applies to your model...However I was told that the more recent 8 series models don't even need a chip and that you can have a program installed on your onboard computer that automatically increases fuel input to you car so that a chip is not needed. But, I am not sure if this option is available for the 94's.

Can anyone point me in the direction of finding detailed info online about Dinan chips?

I bought a '94 840Ci a month ago and the dealer just has no clue. They didn't even know it had a chip installed.

I'll go out on a limb and say the exhaust most likely has be changed in addition to the Schnitzer wheels, but, I am more interested in learning about this chip first.

thanks,
Ray
