Excellent foresight, planning and vision. A sensible and overly prudent person might call our plan personally officious or pie in the sky, but the truth of the matter is that we are far from being original. A man named Tony Handler began just such an enterprise 12 to 15 yrs ago in West Hollywood with Rolls Royce and Bentley Motorcars. He bought every car he could find that was inexpensive because it was in bad shape or didn't run or was a restoration that was never finished etc. and today he sits on top of a world wide multi million dollar business. I called him recently (still works his own phones) for a used ignition switch for a 72 Shadow and he quoted me $600. Probably half of what he paid for the whole car. I had no choice but to buy it, there are no other RR parts except in other copy-cat used parts businesses that followed his example.

Also, in talking to Tony it is obvious that he loves the cars and what he is doing. He truly feels that he is supporting the value and exclusivity of the cars. Nice way to make a buck and love what your doing at the same time.

In this instance we would actually be much more exclusive and dealing on a much smaller playing field. There have been RR and Bentley Motorcars for years and years, but with the E31 there were only a few years they were made. All food for thought. In fact we are probably providing the motivation and information for someone else that will suddenly begin this business and we'll say 'remember when we talked about doing that', life is certainly interesting isn't it and provocative as well to say the least. I suppose like the old saying goes.... only time will tell.
