I screwed up the headlights. (archive)

In my infinite wisdom, I opended the light assembly and I got so intrigued that I opened eveything up to the motor that moves everything up and down and I then opended the motor itself, took the core out of the magnets
and started wondering at how good it looks. Now that I close up the motor, its not working!!!! DAMN!
Reminds me of when I used to open everything up as a child!
Now I am stuck with a big bill to replace the whole damn thing!!
I can't understand why it shouldn't work! Its a simple electric motor?! Is there a reset someplace that needs to be reset? I even checked the fuse and it looks ok!

When will I learn my lesson?!
