I would try again and again but I am not sure if the problem is because something happened to the circuitry that supplies enough electricity to move the crank 180 degress or to the motor itself. I think I should get a voltmeter and try to measure the voltages on the side that works and then compare with the broken side to make sure I got enough juice getting to the motor and then concentrate on the motor itself.
My other option is to have my BMW mechanic (almost as expensive as the dealer) replace the whole piece. I am just not sure how expensive that'll be. Someone talked about the lighting assembly costing around $600. Does that include the motor?
As I have said a hundred times before, I will never ever again open something I don't know about.Sasan
you probably did something that is hardly noticeable but makes enough trouble not to move... I did that a thousand times and I always say "Never ever" but of course I don't learn either...
anyway, the best thing to do is sleep on it and think while you sleep...
next morning with a clear head, open it up and try.. and try... and try until it works. It will... I have no idea what could go wrong, I never touched that part yet.
just don't be mad and angry it doesn't help I always make mistakes when I'm angry. Also ask your girlfriend/wife what is she thinks is broken ? Many many times my wife helped me out with a perfect answer ! Womans has better sense and they think easier then mans. We always expect the worst and therefore not even looking at the easy small details.
different brain works due to hormones... i guess... but then what about the homosexual's are they think like man or woman ?
