As the saying goes, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I am not interested in asking for the moon for it, I would just rather sell it to someone like yourself that is missing it and would like to replace it with the factory unit. I am looking for function rather than preserving the integrity and originality of my car, hence my decision to update to the modern PCS unit.

You can e-mail me directly and we can work out any details.

What kind of price are you looking to sell your dinosour phone for? You'll be lucky if you can give it away. But....the phone in mine is missing an I wouldn't mind putting an original back in. What price are you looking to sell it for? Do you know if bmw sells a "fill in" piece that you can insert in place of the phone?

I am replacing the factory cell phone in my 850. I need to remove it and will be selling it to anyone interested, It will be removed as a complete unit and I would like to seel it as such rather than part it out. I currently use the Sprint PCS phone and finally found a hands-free kit for my phone that somewhat resembles the setup used with the Motorola handheld phones found in later model 850's.

The phone is in excellent condition, considering it is almost 10 years old. It works fine and is in nice condition cosmetically. I will sell it to whoever offers me a reasonable figure and ship it to anywhere they are. We can work all of that out.

Mind you, I have a personal "button" on cell phone use while driving. Hands free use seems to be a resonable alternative as conversing with someone on speakerphone is like having them in the car with you. For some reason, when people have the phone against their ear, they get more consumed in the conversation and are in another world. Addtionally, one hand is off the wheel.

Seems the BMW folks at least had the foresight on this and made the phones hands free, but still condone the use of cell phones in the cars. I don't get it.... No cup holder, but I got a cell phone!!!!

Anyone interested in the phone can e-mail me and we can work out the details.
