The previous owner probably upgraded to the CSI body, just like I did on mine. Otherwise it is a Euro 840Ci sport that I have seen in BMW UK web site. Man it looked fantastic, huh...

You are correct. I test drove a silver 97 840Ci sport and it had the CSi body kit, wheels and suspension. Not sure about the badge though. Think this is a previous owner addition. Had the elusive armrest as well.

If it had not been for the Nasdaq crash earlier this year I would be driving it now ;-( Still, I musn't complain!
