Over here in Europe the 840 could be ordered with the CSi bodykit (no-cost option); this included front spoiler, rear diffuser, M-style mirrors. I don't know if the suspension upgrade was a no-cost option.

Other CSi differences such as rear wheel steering, could be ordered on any 8-serie. I haven't heard the same about the CSi brakes though.

I also heard that leather was an option on a 840.

Sometimes two-tone leather is mentioned as a CSi option; to my knowledge this just is a 'normal' 8-series option (starting from a certain modelyear; don't which).

Dealeroptions are:
- auto-dimming rearview mirror
- auto dip rightside mirror
- BMW alarm
- timed ventilation/heating
- inflatable backrest (lumbaradjustment?)
- sports-seats (standard in CSi)
- 6-speed (all CSi's are 6-speed)
- EDC (damping control; not possible on CSi)
- rearwindow sunblind
- sunroof
- headlightwashers (standard in Europe I think)
- foldable rearseats
- different wheels (of course)
- heated frontseats
- wood finish in interior
- traction and stability control (not all 8-series are equipped with both, some just have traction control)
