I just got back from one of those drives you're talking about. Four of us from the local CCA chapter did a run from Phoenix to Prescott and back, about 250 mi. It was about 35 degrees and light snow in Prescott. I know that may not sound like a treat to our northern friends, but for a desert dweller it's like your first snowfall when you were a kid. Prescott has lots of funky little antique stores, that was the alleged reason for the trip. We had lunch together and then the others (318i, M3, 525i Touring) headed off to do some shopping. I headed back out on the road. The first forty miles out of Prescott was light to moderate snow with little traffic. A steady 60 - 65 mph, watching the patterns the big snowflakes made as I passed through them, yep, I no what yur sayin...
