The problem is after I turn, i.e. after the rear (I assume) of the car has been compressed during a hard turn. The sound occurs after I've straightened back out and continues for a bit. Mostly at low speeds, and no apparent relation to the steering box. Again, at first blush, it's as if the rear tires are rubbing on something, but with no evidence of same.
