There was a strong turnout and the Michelin Pilot Sports seem to have the edge. However, there was a problem with some the ballots in Florida and we may have to wait a few days, and possibly 2 weeks, to see who will be the winner. Pirelli has sought an injunction to have the votes hand counted and Michelin is seeking to block the move. There are also some absentee ballots that need to be counted as some of the board members were smart and were out for a drive this weekend!!
OK, so all kidding aside, I checked the difference in price and it looks like the Pilot Sports will run another $200 or so. From what you all have had to say, it would be money well spent. As Stan says "everything is riding on your tires."
Final question; is the 285/35 the limit as far as width or will a 295 clear? Has anyone mounted a 295 with any success???
Thanks guys!!

Greg:
Opt for the Michelin Pilot Sports. I've now got them on all three cars. Just mounted on M Parallel's last night on the 840ci.
I push the limits on the M5's and have absolutely no complaints about the performance of the Pilot's. The are great wet or dry and are better over time when compared to SO2's.
Also the aggressive tread pattern looks great on the 8-series.
