Your tires are fine, and don't go second guessing yourself. Just because they have a loyal following doesn't mean yours won't perform. Yokohama is a very respected name in tyres. 3 weeks ago I just shod the 750 with 19" Racing Dynamics RS4 3 piece forged rotors 8.5F and 10R with Yokohama AVS Sport Y rated 186 mph rubber 245/35/19F and 275/30/19R. These tyres are awesome!!! I did have early reservations about putting Japanese tires on my German creation but after looking around I felt extremely comfortable with my selection. 2 months ago BMW CAR Magazine had a Nowack tuned 200mph M5 shod with, you guessed it Yokohama tires, and in Germany they could have used Continental, Michelin, Pirelli, or Dunlop but didn't. Michelin sports are good tires also, but Michelins were $75 more for the rear and 50 more in the front, impossible to get as nobody had them in stock in the sizes I needed. I have nothing against them but nothing for them either. I saved money and got Y rated tires I needed easily from stock, vs waiting at least 6 weeks for the Pilots which were not a better max performance tire.

Actually, I love the way my Yokohamas handle in curves, fast speed, stopping, in water etc. etc.
I guess I better ride in a car with these Michelin Pilot Sports and compare.
Hmmmmmm, Kurt
