Folks - I know there is cause for concern with Nikasil engines but there are tone of Nikasil 540's, 740's and 840's out there with well over 100k on the original engine. Further, sulfur rates have been reduced so dramatically over the past several years that I'm guessing that most that don't already have a problem, may never have the problem - just don't know. However, a lot of opinions are post on this topic which make assumptions that the engine "will" die someday - and that is just not true. It kills the resale value for those who own them. Not trying to be defensive (and hope no one takes this the wrong way), just think we ought to present the full story and not just one side of it to potential buyers.
Gracias.
