Hi Carls,
I would always do everything basic first 'before' doing the gaskets, such as all tune up parts, including wires, plugs, elec. components, gas filters, everything else first to see if it clears
up the rough running before considering the gaskets need replacing. Also, I would test the car while running rough by spraying Carb clean or any number of other sprays over the intakes and see if it suddenly starts to run smooth. If it does not that it is most likely not the gaskets.
