I'm looking at swapping ny diff, the only problem I see going to a 3.91 is that my 850 already comes with 3.73. That's barely a difference. My mechanic says if the 91 M5 diff of 3.91 works then I should really be looking at a 4.17 diff from 91 and up 535. That way I would see a considerable amount of change. Going from 3.73 to 3.91 is small to make the swap worth while. What do you think?
Let me know. Plus would the 4.17 work?
BTW, I got really lucky and found a mechanic who loves 850's and knows them pretty well. He already has five regular customers with 850's.
