BMW changes colours like other change underwear.(Hmmm once a year doesn't sound right...:)) Fjord Grey is not in the current lineup, but from 1995 to 1998 it was offered on the 7s & 8s. But since you already have one I guess I don't need to list those for comparison...:) Again your dealer might be telling the truth, that it's a "custom" order. But at least this was a normal colour for the years in question. It's not a BMW individual order, like yellow or pink would be.
