Ross,
Although I've not done so myself, I will pass on the feedback that I've received from a fellow 850 driver who is very pleased with fitting SP5000 245/45x16 up front and 245/50x16 in the rear. The slight lowering of the front end counteracts some of the understeer and results in greater rear wheel traction when starting off the line. If he had it to do over again, he would fit 255/50x16 in the rear, but be aware of the speedo error that will result.
