There is a nice looking white automatic on ebay right now that is around $21,000 or so right now, it has sort of high mileage at 100,000 plus, but not so really as it would seem quite probably that these 8s properly cared for on a regular basis would go in excess of 300,000 mi or so.
There are several 8s in San Diego and several in LA. You have to get the recyclers and the auto traders and the other local mags down there to find them however. Sometimes Trader-on-line and Hemmings will have one or two from S. Cal. I sincerely wish you well. Kurt
Ps. As soon as you get the car, or before you get the car, try to find a good honest 8 expert mechanic who will help you check it out before purchase and who will help you take care of it properly after purchase. Hard job, but there are honest mechanics out there. K.
Thanks for all the info so far! I think your right about getting the 8 series.... now it's just a question of finding one in good condition in So.Cal. So does anyone know of one in So. Cal? Preferably 92-94? 850ci?
Thank you!
Hello All!
I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm in the market to buy either a 92-93 850ci or a 95 540 six speed. I love both cars and have had 2 E34's before, but never a E31, but i've heard that the maintainence cost is really high. I'd appreciate any info you could give me!
Thanks!
