Hi Lez

Quality on all Pugs has improved but still have problems convincing new buyers on the larger models. The 406 saloon sold incredibly well but a little old in the tooth now [aren't we all!]. They've just introducd a new luxury car the 607 which again has been slated by the press so no doubt will fail also over here. The MGF, as Rover has been sold off by BMW,I expect will never make it to the distant US shores perhaps due to type approval etc etc..As for TVR well thats the same story but sales are going thru the roof.
All the best and good to hear another view of run of the mill Euro cars!

Steve
yes, that is true ! The 206 is also a wonderful little car...
I was wondering how is the quality ? I heard it is getting better. I hope not in a "Aston Martin is owned by Ford, so the quality has been improved. It is now as good as a Mustang." way ?
I had a 405 sedan back in 1992 and the car was oke, but quality was very poor.
I still like the style of the 406 and I think one of the nicest coupe's ever hit the market. Too bad the US market will not except a car like that. They say we have enough car in a middle section, we don't need a "pug" . That's true, we have a Chevy Cavalier coupe, a Pontiac Sunfire, but they all miss a good style and personality. They are just an another daily commuter with no strong points...
same thing goes for those cute little english cars we don't get... I mean the small Rovers... and TVR, and all those exotic sports cars.
