Hey Ben,
Did you get the wood installed yet?? I wish I could help you with the key but I didn't have to go through that with mine after the batteries died. When I re-charged the batteries the key worked fine, everything worked fine. So, once you find out I'll be asking you when it happens to me. Happy holidays and I hope someone tells you the proper method. Most likely Stan or Lez or Steve, or Bert or Jim, or Steve or Greg or Carl or ???? on and on Great guys here.
Merry Xmas almost !! K.

Hi Everybody
I am having some trouble initializing a key after I replaced the battery. I have an 1995 840ci, and i follow the instructinos in the manual but it dones't seem to work. after the LED flashes for less than 10 sec, the doors do not lock to show completion. Does anyone know why? The doors were closed when I did the procedure. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Ben
