Hi Randy,
Merry Christmas, I will tell you the same thing I told Danny in a post just above this, that it's a bad time of the year to be expecting much in the way of an answer as everyone is very involved with their familys and the holidays etc.

However, just covering it very basically, the 840s and 850s were basically made from about 1989 to the present is you include the final Alpinas being made. But basically the main years the cars were offered here in the USA was from 91 to 97. All models and years between 91 and 97 are for sale from time to time in all the different places everywhere from ebay to hemmings to local papers, to traderonline, to local car lots around the country, you just have to hunt. You can obviously get the best buys on the earlier cars meaning 91 or 92 because there were more of them and they are beginning to show their age in many cases. They are probably the best buys in the world on any car for the money. IMHO.
I hope this information helps and if you really want to know the cars just read the board for awhile and check the Archive section here by using the search function for more information. Have a happy holidays, Kurt

...in keeping an eye out for one of these, it seems only the '91 or '92 years become on the market...when were they made and how can i find a newer one? thank you...
