Hi Everybody
I am having some trouble initializing a key after I replaced the battery. I have an 1995 840ci, and i follow the instructinos in the manual but it dones't seem to work. after the LED flashes for less than 10 sec, the doors do not lock to show completion. Does anyone know why? The doors were closed when I did the procedure. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Persevere! I had the same problem. Make sure you follow the instructions in the manual to the letter and if it does not work keep trying. I had half a dozen tries before all of a sudden the door locks started activating.
