Dear Ruby,

Check your mail. You now have three different texts there that describe how you can either change or try to clean your OBC. The cleaning is at your own risk ;-)

Fedde

Hello, Brandt

I think the problem from all the OBC display’s is the moisture in the car.
The first thing to think about is the heating radiator because that is the problem of the most 850’s (read the archives) when there is moisture there are oxidants on the contacts then comes the problem again and again.
Ask yourself the question what is the reason that eats my display?

Hi, Fedde I hope you read this message?

Please mail me the procedure to take out the OBC to the ventilation other wise I must take out my VDO Dayton navigation system. (lots of wire:)
I tray to type English I hope you all can read it:)

Best regards,
Rudy (from the Netherlands)

Hi, I am experiencing the notorious pixel burn-out in my OBC. Does anyone know where I can get a new display for my 91 850i OBC?

Thanks, Brandt
