I'm looking at buying a '93 850Ci, but the passenger seat release mechanism (to get into the back seat) is not working. The lever in the seat just moves up and down, but doesn't release anything. In my 635, there is just a cable that runs from the handle to the latch release via some pulleys -- is it the same inside the 850 seat? If this is a relatively easy fix, I can proabably take the car as is for a little less $$. How hard is it to take the seat out/apart? Thanks.
