Kurt,

On my '91 I have a switch to the left of the shifter. I have it off all of the time as it doesn't snow much here and I leave the car in the garage when it rains. So as far as ASC goes. I am not much help in that area.

Greg

On mine Richard, there is only a light that says it's on or off, sort of all by itself. I wonder what the other 850i's out there have?? I know there were several differences between the i and the Ci automatics.

Isn't the switch in the center to the left side of the shifter? That's where mine is on my 840Ci...

Of course there is no turning the thing off and on in my 91, it's always on as I see it, unless there is a mysterious hidden switch in an 850i somewhere?
Kdg

I noticed the same thing. I thought that if the ASC light isn't flashing, that there is no intervention by the computer. There must be something that the boys in the Motherland aren't telling us.
