I don't remember at the moment, but isn't your car a Ci?? If so I don't believe that chips are avialable for the Ci. I believe only for the "i and the CSi". Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks Kurt... My 93 Euro is still perplexing me. It shows 850ci on the title 850csi on the door jam... and just plain 850 on the trunk lid. Any way to definitively find out what my multi personality car wants to be? Nice segue... Is Steve S an imposter sent here by another evil car club to divide and conquer? I didn't understand your witty note to him regarding his 850 lamentations.
