Has anyone seen or does anyone have a system such as this in their E31? The reason I ask is that I hate it and I want to either get rid of it or... as you can see by the Pics... get a couple more "starter sticks?" or whatever the heck they are. I only have one of those so if I lose it, I'm doomed. Thus far, no alarm installation company that I've spoken to has seen anything like this. The procedure is that before I try to turn the key in the ignition... I have to plunge that little black "stick" onto the silver button or sensor just below the drivers side heated seat switch. (As seen in the photos) Then and only then will my car start. The last pic is a rear end pic of my Euro 850. (you may have seen it on ebay in December)
