Flat tire/bent wheel: I had it sent of to www.wheelcollision.com
Interior: I'm still looking to make my interior look kick ass. Stock BMW black all over the place is monotonous.
My question today is:
I am in Little Rock, AR and my closest Dinan dealer is 2hours away in Memphis, TN. My Dinan rep has just about convinced me to purchase:
Dinan's Engine chip for my 1991 850i e31,
Transmission chip for the automatic,
a transmission cooler ($800 !? what for!!?),
the Stage 2 suspension (or should I go stage 3) ((hey, real quick should I buy the optional bilsteen strut and shocks?))
the high-flow intake manafold,
and finally, the free flow exhaust (for $2k I would want a straight pipe!!)
I have read the archives and it seems that some of you don't like the prices vs. the performance. You have until mid-March to talk me out of it if
you have had a bad experience with Dinan personel/techs,
you have had a bad experience with Dinan equipment,
you have had a bad experience with Dinan service after sell,
you have had a bad experience with Dinan performance vs. another brand,
you have had a bad experience with Dinan price vs. another brand
,
I have never modified a car before, because I believe that engineers spend millions of dollars and hours trying to make cars right. I am skeptical of altering what I call "the perfect coupe". Should I stay "pure", or should I make this car even more super than it is? (Yes I do get up at night and go to the garage and stare at it).
Again, thank you in advance!
