This kinda looks like a newer version of a system that BMW used in the mid-80's as their factory alarm - it had a series of magnetic rings on a "key" that disarmed the system just by inserting and removing. I would check with a Euro dealer or someone close to one to verify and see how to possibly reroute around it or perhaps purchase addtional "keys" from BMW Ag...
