I had a problem with a stripped cog in the motor. I ended up changing the motor (still available from BMW Germany). You will need to remove the back seats and the rear parcel shelf to get to the blind. The whole blind assy will need to be removed to get to the motor. I had to alter the mounting on the motor I got from germany but it wasnt a big deal. Best of Luck.


mines stoped working any suggestions why , is this common ? how do I get access to it?


Mine too, motor used to overheat then stopped working altogether,'92 850, any tips for access?
