Made it to east coast to get car. Has bad seals in power assist unit and requires about a quart of chf 7.1 fluid every 100-200 miles on interstate and much more if stuck in traffic. (Yes, I know the leak is bad} Is it safe for me and car to continue to drive adding fluid regularly until I can get the new unit put in??

Justin and I tried to work this problem out before I got car (he had part overnighted for Saturday delivery but the mechanic for various reasons didn't get it installed and I really need to head back) but I must either stay away from home longer than planned or spend a small fortune on fluid to get home. Don't mind the small fortune if it won't hurt me or the car.

Thanks,

Jim
