For the longest time, I have wondered why it is supposedly "cool" to put European plates on a US car. For years I have wondered about this fascination with European plates. Can someone explain this?

Do you guys in Europe lust for a US plate on American cars that are imported into Europe??

Oddly enough, people that drive BMW's, Mercedes and so on love to bash the Japanese import drivers that put wings and stickers on their cars. We laugh at them and call them "posers" because we think they are acting like something they are not. However, I have yet to see a Japanese import with a Japanese plate on it.

Is a European plate some kind of fashion statement for statement for the American European car owner??

Next time you look at a "Rice Rocket" and laugh, perhaps you should check yourself first. They may just be laughing at us with our Dinan emblems, Mercedes V12 emblems, and European plates and be laughing at us.

If that's the case, then here is the #

euro lic. plate holder#51 11 2 252 017 $203.00
euro fake plate w/BMW letters#51 11 2 259 824 $122.00

I know it is expensive, but ask those euro imports guys, they might have the euro bracket from the car, and then all you need is a the fake plate. BTW this is for states w/no front plate of course.
Or we could make a nice fake front plate for the US plate holder ! The emblem designed by Stan and Derek would be nice on a white plate !
