96 Euro CSi (built in late 95) at JK in Baltimore for conversion. For some strange reason, my car was built with single airbag. Stephen (of this post) says (per the CD) that my car has the pass. seat sensor that it should have if a dual bag system. JK is trying to confirm that sensor is there before ordering parts for 96 pass. bag and harness, but cant seem to tell on visual inspection. I haven't seen the printout to know whether the control unit on my car is the same as the dual bag, but Stephen says it is the same as his 94 Euro CSi.

In order to ensure compatibility with computer/harness, should we try one of the earlier model euro dual bag systems that didn't use seat sensor? or try to bypass the seat sensor in some way if it isn't present?

A complicated problem for a neophyte, but JK/I need to take a stab at ordering some parts to get the ball rolling.

Laslo, I know you said that you sent me some parts info, but I've not received it. I would greatly appreciate any insight that you or your fellow posters might have. My car has been in country since September but can't proceed w/conversion until airbag issue is resolved.

Thanks to all.
Richard
