OK, now I have to go this weekend and try it out. I knew I could pull up the odometer by pushing the button, but I didn't know it would cycle through a test of the gauges. I wish BMW had released a "secrets" of the 8 manual to detail each and every bell and whistle.

On another note, I store my car in a storage unit (finally moving into a new place with three car garage) and have noticed that it has rained and the unit leaks! (What good is a leaking storage unit since that is why you store things?) Anyway, I now have water spots on my paint where water has dripped on it, and obviously dried very slowly thus soaking into the paint. My question is this, do you hit up your insurance company to pay for any repair work or the storage company?
