That sounds great Hans. I am on the market for one (ebay) When I get one... I want to see if I can get it integrated right into the car somewhere. The prvious owner of my last car Lexus Ls400 had one built in so that all you saw was a readout on the instrument panel. There is a couple of alarm shops in Maryland that I'm checking with that claim that they can do it. If they do... I'll get some kind of schematic.

I have tried to find an inconspicuous place near the windshield to no avail. So here is another solution and I invite your comments.
This installation requires the plug-in unit to be equipped with a three to four foot flexible gooseneck, as comes with map reading lights, and and a mounting device for the detector on top. The unit could then be bent forwards towards the dashboard for direct reading. A more concealed place would be between the seats at headrestraint height. The concealed read devive could then be mounted on the steering column. In both cases, if necessary, it could easily be moved out of sight. Should there be interest in this solution I will contact Valentine to see if they would be willing to manufacture gooseneck adaptors for the unit for those who are interested. Please let me know.
Regards to all.
H
