I'll try to get the bulb out or see which fuse looks after this little fellow!
Installed the Racing Dynamics wheel which not only being a bit smaller is so much nicer to hold..
The laws over here are not as strict as the USA re insurance though with the number of ambulance chasing companies now in business Im surewere not too far behind. God bless the McDonalds coffee!

I seem to remember that Lez once warned me about tampering with the steering wheel. He had done the same and resulted with the same problem, but he had a procedure to get it back to normal. Maybe he can give you a hand on this one...

I have asked this before but I wondered if anyone else had any ideas!
I have replaced the truck steering wheel on my 99 840 with a Racing Dynamics version. Problem is....the airbag warning light is now illuminated and after chatting with my local BMW dealer.zzzzzzz...who said there is nothing on this earth he can do about it [surprise!] I wondered if any of you guys may have a solution besides going back to the Titanic wheel?
I wouldve thought that removing the bulb would be an option but I believe that to get behind the instrument binnacle would involve a total rebuild!
