I will post what I learn/do. Reading the original post prompted me to take a hard look at my temperature dials, and it appears that my left one is not illuminated either! I guess I will be taking that one out today, and looking for two bulbs. Time to warm up that soldering iron!

Hi Mike,
I also am having the same problem with my left temperature dial. You were probably going to anyway, but if not, Please post the info when your finished here on the board rather than privately so the rest of us can pick it up as well. I know when working they are easy to read as the left dial is very clear when lit at nite.

With regard to no 1., I have the same problem. I pulled the switch out and took it apart to find two little bulbs soldered to a circuit board. I am in the process of trying to find a suitable replacement to solder in. When I do, I'll let you know my results.

1. I noticed the two window switches closest to the window on the drivers side sometimes are backlit and sometimes are not. Does this mean that the connectors have to be cleaned or do the switches need to be replaced. I was told it is about $100US a switch to replace, if the problem isn't the connectors, is it possible just to replace the bulb and not the switch?
