Before leaving in the car to a shop give it a try yourself before. Wash the car properly and dry it properly. Then use a polish! Be careful to check that you use a polish for your kind of color. If your color is metallic, don't use a strong polish or a stronger version called rubbing (at least here in Europe). The car will shine like a mirror after this and the water spots will probably be gone. Wax the car after this and hopefully it will look brand new. Just make sure not to do this in direct sun light!
