I cannot answer you question directly, but with the proper amount of effort one probably could associate a title with an owner. Of course, the owner may be a company rather than an individual (as with my car, for exampel).

But my real point is, that the car was titled eleven times in five different states, the way I read the CARFAX report.

As far as the car being cosmetically excellent, that's great. Have you checked the inside of the fender wells, hood, doors or trunk to see if its been repainted? Do you have the service records? Have the intake spacers been replaced? At 50K miles, it's time. How about the DK motors? The lower suspension links. Has it had its major service(s)? I have no way of knowing of course about the car. It very well could be perfect. The time and $$$$'s it would take to prove that could also be spent finding a car whose history was certifiable.

Believe me, I know first hand how emotional one can get over these cars. But, be patient. A little looking around "may" save you a lot of pain and expense - as well as a lot of time without the car ('cause it's at the dealer).
