1996:

840Ci retail : $74,400 dealer : $64,220
850Ci retail : $93,360 dealer : $78,875

I'd think 1997 price was close but a slightly higher and then later a lot lower ! I saw a brand new 850Ci black/black in 1998 june offered at a local dealer at $79,999 wish I'd bought that one !
