Did you go out and listen to them first according to the advice I also gave in my article too? ;-) I just hope you haven't bought something just because I did so. Are you also getting some help from an auto audio shop?
I have a question, when I opened up the kick panel speakers I found out that there are two set of wires connected to the OEM Nokia speakers. One set of wires is for Cell phone hands free, and other set is for regular audio signal. The infinity speakers don't have seperate connections for cell phone and audio signal's. If I connect both of them to the speakers then signal is distorted.
My car does not have a phone installed, so we never had that problem with several connections to the samek speaker. I still wonder why the signal would be distorted though...I think this is a typical case for an auto audio shop. As I wrote in my article, the installation was never done by me, but by a reputable shop in my city.
Also should I be using the frequency division filter (cross-over).
If your speakers were delivered with such a device as part of the package, yes...
