Lazlo,

Yeah I think for someone who doesn't want to put alot of miles on their e31, an SVX will get you almost the same WOW factor as an e31 but will be something you can toss around and drive in all sorts of weather. Unfortunately, I heard that it costs alot to fix these suckers because they are rare like our e31's. Aren't wheel bearings like $200 a pop to replace and the transmission replacement is probably more than most SVX's are worth. Do you have a aftermarket transmission cooler on yours?

be aware not all of them AWD ! pre 1994 had bad tranny , most of them if not all failed ! They used a same tranny as the 2.2l and 2.5 boxer's and the torque killed them.
Also the owner's negligence as they used the power button thinking it was sport mode, however it was power mode for winter. It started the tranny in 2nd gear !
The car I purchased is nice and sound with a small front damage (still drives and rolls) and very cheap ! People do not like Subarus and many find the style odd. I hate the side windows and a cheap looking plasticy dash/center console. Besides that a car is great ! A true Japanese small Porsche 4 wanna-be. Not enough power ? Who cares if it rains or snows ?
