I want to put some racing dynamics rims on my 840CI. The tire shop recommends that I put 245/40/18 all around because RD rims are non-staggered. I would like to have 235's in the front and 265's in the back (wider is better). He said it will work with 265's in the back but the front tire will stretch and drop the care by 3%. This 3% drop could affect car performance. Has anyone come across this. Is he right?
