These valves go into the valve cover and snugly fit inside a rubber grommet to seal against the hole in the valve cover provided. They are located under the DK throttle motors. You must remove the MAF, accordian boot duct between the MAF and DK, and the connection hose from the boot's check valve to the PCV. There is another hose going from the output of the PCV to the intake manifold plenum. Sounds busy and complicated but you can have 1 side changed in 20 minutes if your slow. The passenger side for LHD cars requires the winshield washer tank to be removed in 7 series cars. Not owning an 8 I'm not sure about this requirement. BE CARFUL WITH THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR THE MAF METER AND HANDLE THE REMOVED MAF WITH CARE, NO DROP IT!. The outer ring which turns can break. One of mine did. I'm researching the connectors now. So I used electrical tape to keep the connector in place. A new connector will require removing the crimped pins from the old one and inserting them into the entire new connector. There will be a special tool required for removing the pins no doubt as those are required for ITT and Amphenol military style round connectors.

Good hunting.

I checked and I have same problem? oil accumulates near oil cover and there is a pressure, not vacuum out of it. Is it difficult to replace it?

Thanks.

Al
