Motronix Motorsports in Canada has successfully developed and implemented a twin supercharger application for the 850. So far they've converted at least one 850 and corrected one Dinan supercharged 750 as far as I know. As posted by Steve, Koenig appears to also offer an application, yet I have neither seen nor heard of any of their kits actually being sold or installed and very little is known of the 850 application (is it a single blower?). From discussions with Motronix and detailed photographs of the engine bay they sent me, their system appears to have overcome the problems encountered by Dinan such as belt slippage, cooling, and ecu coordination. Dinan appears to have dropped the application after development didn't quite satisfy the first few customers that purchased it for 750's.

Checked the archives and found several discussions about supercharging the 850. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no resolution to those discussions. Does anyone on the board know of a succesful single or twin SC applied to the 850? Would like more info on what was involved. Specifically, I'm looking for location, fuel pump swap requirements, injector changes, max boost without modifying heads/head gaskets, location of air flow sensor upstream or downstream, as well as any other info you may know of. Thanks... - John
