I was under the impression you couldn't get a chip for the later models (97 and up). Does the chip even make a noticable difference? I would love to do one of Fly2LoW's conversions, but can't see spending that kind of cash right now.

Fly...how early of a model year can those mods be done with the same (or simalar) results? I would love to buy an older 850 with high mileage for a bargain, and put the $8K+ into one of those.
