I have just completed configuring my FTP’s as “additional” fog lights. They are set up to operate as normal FTP’s with the lights off, and are on all the time with the fog lights. I chose this configuration to make a more plausible plea with any cops who may have too much time on their hands – “see officer…they go off & on with the fogs, and operate as FTP during the day, just the way BMW wanted”. Aiming the lights was a breeze.
No OBC errors.
Labor – 6 hrs (would have been less if I did not have to accommodate my already modified DRL’s)
