CD player install (archive)

Has anyone installed a CD player on a 94 840? I just purchased a CD player and mounting kit, however the mounting kit does not work on an 840. From my limited research it appears that I need special 8 Series CD player mounting brackets and a different right side trunk panel. If anyone has any information on this I would appreciate hearing from you.

P.S. - Purchased the CD player and mounting kit from Roadfly.com (BMW Central - host of this forum) and the service and response time were excellent.
