Laszlo, tell me where to get the Ci kit for that price! The real one, not the aftermarket kind that doesn't cover the whole center console. I priced it recently from VOB BMW (they discount 25% off list), and they still wanted around $1400 just for the center console piece alone.

My dealer wanted $1800 for the center console piece alone. What a rip off! The kit might have been cheaper at some point, like when the car was still being produced, but now it is rediculous. You can buy another car for $4K! Leave it to BMW to either stop supporting their "flagship" car of only a few years ago, or price accessories out of the reach of everyone. I don't know anyone that wants to pay even $3200 for a factory kit. Have you seen these kits?? They are not even true wood, but aluminum plates with a paper thin slice of real wood.

Sorry guys....I'm just in a pissy mood, since I've been waiting almost 4 months for my roof rack from my dealer, and he still doesn't know if or when it will come......even Jurgen is not yet sure he can get them for sure......
