Has anyone on the board read the reply to the letter sent in by a reader in the latest issue of Bimmer(June 2001),dealing with the problems of the auto tranny on the E-31 cars? Is this a problem on these autos? You would think that BMW would build a better tranny on a car that cost so much to purchase when new.The reply begans on page 36.Would like to know what owners of these particular trannys in their cars think of the response.
